Meeting Avery
The family got together this past Monday so some of us could meet the newest member – Christine and Kim’s 10-month old, Avery.

Maryland Renaissance Festival 2015
I bought a Canon 70D recently, which is a lot faster than the Canon T3 I used to have, so the burst shots on Google’s automatic ‘photo enhancer’ software made some really fast animations. In other words, the old camera handles that better, because instead of five shots in two seconds, it’s more like five shots in less than a second, looping. Some of these look pretty bad, but I still get a kick out of them.

Hockey Media vs. USA Warriors Charity Game

On Sunday, I played in a charity game at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington. I suited up for the hockey media team, which included several folks I’ve know for a long time from covering the Caps. We faced off against the USA Warriors.
